On November 7, Bulgarian Minister of Tourism Evtim Miloshev visited the China Pavilion at the World Travel Market (WTM) in London, expressing his deep admiration for China and seeking insights from its rapidly advancing tourism industry.

Minister Miloshev began his visit by using a traditional Chinese calligraphy brush to write “I love China” in the guest book, adding a heart symbol to signify friendship and his deep admiration for the country. After sampling traditional Chinese baijiu and tea, he offered enthusiastic praise, highlighting his genuine interest in Chinese culture.

 

Accompanied by Zhang Li, Director of the Chinese Tourist Office London, Minister Miloshev visited the “High-Quality Development of China Tourism” exhibition. The display featured models of the domestically produced C919 aircraft and the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge, showcasing China’s achievements in modern infrastructure. As a gesture of welcome, Director Zhang presented Minister Miloshev with a “Tea Story” gift set and a panda plush toy, a symbol of China’s cultural heritage.

As he concluded his visit, Minister Miloshev expressed heartfelt respect for China’s achievements, saying, “I extend my highest respect to the remarkable achievements of China and its people.” He emphasized that the visit had deepened his understanding of China’s tourism trajectory and voiced hope for stronger collaboration between Bulgaria and China in the tourism sector in the future.
