Jiangxi

Jiangxi Province is located in the southeastern part of China, south of the Yangtze River on the middle-lower reaches. To its east are Zhejiang and Fujian provinces; to its south is Guanddong Province; to its west if Hunan Province and to its north are the provinces of Hubei and Anhui. dUnder the jurisdiction of Jiangxi Province are 11 cities (Nanchang, Jiujiang, Jingdezhen, Shangrao, Yingtan, Fuzhou, Ganzhou, Ji'an, Xinyu, Yi-chun and Pingxiang), with a total area of 166,900 square kilometers. 

Immortals' cave

Immortals' cave

 The cave is found in a precipitous cliff in the West Valley of Guling Mountain. A fairytale tells that Lu Dongbin lived in this cave to cutivate himself into an immortal before he joined seven other immortals to cross the sea. A huge rock perching on the cliff outside the cave bears four huge Chinese characters meaning "Watching Clouds Fly in the Sky". A pine tree grows in a crevice of the rock. People call it "Rock Pine".

 Jingdezhen is famour for its long history of porcelain production. Acclaimed as "capital of porcelain" in ancient China and the world, it occupies an important place in the history of human civilization. The city has preserved an extra-large, complete and complex system of porcelain production and marvelous natural scenery. We may call it an example of perfect integration of human civilization and nature. Jingdezhen is one of the first batch of 24 famous historic and cultural cities designated by the State Council. It enjoys the special honor of the top tourist city and a state ecological gardenin China.

Jinggang Mountain Scenic Area

The Jinggang Mountain Scenic Area, under the jurisdiction of Ji'an City, is the cradle of China's revolution. In October 1927, Mao Zedong (1893 - 1976) and Zhu De (1886-1976), as well as other proletarian revolutionaries, led the Workers' and Peasants' Revolutionary Army to the Jinggang Mountain, founding the first rural revolutionary base in China. The scenic area, covering 213 square km, if ichly endowed with natural sights, including high and steep ridges and peaks, queerly shaped caves, cascading waterfalls and deep pools. It is usually enveloped in clouds and mist and has a pleasant climate. Its five peaks tower into the sky, hence the name "Five-Finger Peak". The Five-Finger Peak with an altitude of 1,438 meters is the highest peak of the Jinggang Mountain. In 2007, the Jinggang Mountain was rated as a national AAAAA tourist attraction. 

Longhu Mountain Scenic Area

Longhu Mountain Scenic Area

Located in the southern suburb of Yingtan City, the Longhu mountain Scenic Area is the birthplace of Chinese Taoism and renowned as the Taoist Town of China. It is a combenation of key national scenic and historic interest area, national AAAA tourist area, national forest park, national geopark and cultural relics unit under State protection. Covering a total area of over 200 square km, the Longhu Mountain consists of 99 peaks, 24 rock formations and 108 natural and cultural sights. The Taoist culture, red mountain and green jade water secret cliff graves constitute the "Three Wonders" of the sights of the Longhu Mountain. Of the total, te Fairy Water Rock and the Elephant Trunk Hill are must-see attractions. 

Lushan Mountain

Lushan Mountain is renowned for its natural scenery and ancient sites of cultural, educational, religious and political significance. In 1982 the State Council apporved the mountain among the first batch of national key scenic and historic interest zones in China. On December 6th, 1996, the UNESCO put Lushan Mountain was appraised as a national AAAAA scenic zone. This mountain is famous in China and abroad for its lofty peaks covered with luxuriant trees.

 Ruijin, a city at county level under the jurisdiction of Ganzhou City, is a world-famous red capital and a sacred place of the Chinese revolution. As the place where the Red Army started its Long March covering 12,500 km, Ruijin deserves the title of cradle of the People's Republic of China and serves to be the best venue for education in China's traditional revolution. It abounds with revolutionary historical and cultural resources, including the Site of the Chinese Soviet Government and the Site of the national Soviet Congress.

Sandie(Three-Terrace) Waterfall

The Sandie Waterfall is acclaimed the "most marvelous sight" and the "best waterfall" in Lushan Mountain. Located on the eastern side of Lushan Mountain the waterfall is fed with water from the streams in Dayue Mountain and the Five-Elder Peaks. The water cascades down over three rocky terraces, thus its name. The waterfall gives off a tremendous sound like galloping horses or ringing bells.

Sanqing Mountain Scenic Area

 Located in northeast Jiangxi Province, the Sanqing Mountain Scenic Area is a national AAAA tourist attraction. It is renowned for sloping steeply in the east, being wonderful in the west, elegant in the north and unique in the south, and is also known as " the first divine peak south of the lower reaches fof the Yangtze River.". The most famous scenic sopts to be found here include the Sanqing Palace and the Python-Like Stone. In July 2008, the Sanqing Mountain was included in the UNESCO World Heritage List. 

Wuyuan

 Located in northeast Jiangxi Province, Wuyuan lies 150km from Quzhou of Zhejiang Province in the east and Shangrao in the south, 80 km from Jingdezhen in the west and 120 km from Huangshan City in the north. It is a green and is reputed as the Most Beautiful Village in China by many domestic and foreign media.
